Clean Eating: Healthy On-The-Go Snacks
When it comes to clean eating, it’s exponentially easier to do so when you have planned ahead and have clean foods on hand. I know, it’s no easy task given how busy many of us are, but truth be told, with a little effort, integrating clean eating snacks doesn’t have to be hard.
For me, the absolutely cleanest, healthy snacks are fresh fruits and vegetables. There’s still a bounty of fresh produce available this time of year from your local farm stand or farmers’ market. I’ve been loving the baby carrots, fresh cucumbers and variety of bell peppers that make the perfect clean eating snack.
I also know that despite our best efforts, we don’t always get to the store or stock up on heathier items like we mean to. That’s why I also like to keep a stash of healthy snacks on hand that are easily portable, albeit packaged. Personally, I’m a big fan of Sabra hummus, among other things.
Check out this week’s video and I’ll fill you in on two of my favorite clean eating snacks that are easy to pack and go:
What are you favorite clean eating, on-the-go snacks? What keeps you feeling your best?

Thanks for the ideas. Just what we needed for our trip to Disney World. We love the organic applesauce cups too, but the hummus cups are a new discovery for us!
Great ideas Wendy
I always try to keep an apple / banana in my bag so I have something to snack on when I need it.
The hummus cups are a great idea and one I will be putting on my list. Currently organic baby carrots are my thing but I “jazz” them up a bit with a few organic raisins and maybe a chopped walnut or two – that way you get a little sweet and nutty to go along with your crunch.
Also, McIntosh apples are in season right now and just about wonderful.
great ideas especially since I am the mother of three young boys who are actively involved in sports. These ideas work since we are always on the go at practice or games!!
thank you!!
