Weight Loss is a Snap with a Vitamix Blender
From the moment I heard about the Vitamix blender when I started nutrition school several years ago, I was enamored with buying one but it wasn’t until recently that I finally made the Vitamix plunge.
I say plunge because buying a Vitamix is no small expense. Rolling in at over $500 for the top of the line model, it can set you back a bit but it’s worth every last penny! But think total freedom in the kitchen, quick meals and so many more fruits and vegetables than you’re probably eating in your current diet. I’ve made soup in 10 minutes, delicious salad dressings and pesto in a snap, just to name a few.
Case in point: this morning’s breakfast is a delicious smoothie with over 5 servings of fruits and vegetables:
- grapes
- orange
- banana
- spinach
- blue-green algae
And the beauty is that in less than 5 minutes, I made a super-healthy breakfast for my husband and I that will keep us going all morning. Not to mention that it’s raw, heart-healthy, low-fat and bursting with nutrients.
But you know what else I’ve noticed now that I’ve integrated the Vitamix into our daily life? It’s an amazing tool to help me manage my weight. By combining the healthiest whole foods with nutrient-dense superfoods like blue green algae and cacao that we add to our soups and smoothies, I feel more satisfied and less hungry. So you can imagine I’m eating less and without much effort, shedding a few pounds.
Who can’t love that? Better health, ideal weight and easy meal prep all in one. I call that priceless!

You can also use these machines to make delicious recipes for breakfast using meal replacement protein powders and blending them with real fruit. Try Vanilla flavored meal replacement mix and fresh strawberries. It is so good and a healthy way to start your day instead of a high fat meal or worse – no breakfast at all.
