Save Money and Eat Healthfully at a Discount
It really is possible to save money and eat healthfully, but the truth is, you have to expend some effort to reap the rewards.
These days we’re all trying to pinch pennies in one way or another and when we make the time to plan ahead, it’s so much easier. One of the regular stops I make monthly is at my local Ocean State Job Lot store. Ocean State is a chain in New England that gets overages of a wide variety of consumer goods that are sold at a discount…often a deep discount on things we regularly use like certain cereals, olive oil and many other items.
I was in Ocean State with my mom recently and it inspired me to create this week’s video on some of the savings we’ve been realizing. And no, I’m not talking about driving an hour out of your way, in an inconvenient direction, to save $2. I want you to take a peek and then think about what resources may be in your own backyard that can help you save money and support healthy eating. Believe me, they’re out there.
What is your favorite strategy to save money and where to you get great deals that are healthy? Let’s share our resources and ideas so we can all work on plumping up our pocketbook.
