Clean Eating Magazine: Health Without All the Hype

I’m continually bombarded with information about getting and staying healthy.  Some of it is mere trends and adds to the overstimulation, but some information is truly valuable.

So I was excited when one of my clients mentioned Clean Eating magazine. She wanted to know if I was familiar with it, but truth be told, it was all new to my eyes and ears.  And then my friend Rhonda mentioned it the next day.  Hmmm…two mentions in two days — I’m of the mind that when several people mention that same thing, it merits my attention.

I was nothing short of delighted to pick up the March/April issue and flip through.  With the motto, “Improving your life once meal at a time,” the simple, beautiful recipes they provide are interesting and inspiring.  And all within the context of less is more — healthy eating is all about sticking to the basics — fruits, vegetables, whole grains, fresh ingredients.  I haven’t had a chance to make any of the recipes yet but I’m already enthralled with the black eyed pea stew with collards and potatoes, and already seeing how I’ll substitute sweet potatoes for the white potatoes.

I also like that they have great content about creating a healthy lifestyle with a series of health experts and lots of reviews about different health and food products. One issue down and I’m already hooked.

Ever heard of Clean Eating magazine? I liked it so much that I just ordered a subscription.  Check it out, I think you’ll find it a valuable addition to your list of healthy resources.

  1. Great magazine. I think it combines healthy with “real life”. Recipes are easy and yummy!

  2. I dont really know what you talking about here. This cant be the only way to think about this can it? It appears like you understand a great deal, so why not explore it more? Make it more accessible to everyone else who might not concur with you? Youd get a great deal more individuals behind this should you just stopped making common statements.
