Kale, Glorious Kale
I had so much fun yesterday on “Better Connecticut” talking about one of my favorite topics, kale. It’s short and to the point (it’s amazing how quickly 3 minutes goes!) with some simple techniques for getting more veggies into your diet. Don’t we all need that? If you didn’t have a chance to check it out live yesterday, here’s the video as well as the recipes I talked about: Wendy’s Segment on “Better Connecticut”
I got so inspired by my discussion of kale that today’s audio tip is all about that. Do you like kale as much as I do? If so, what do you like about it? Check out this week’s audio tip full of information and ideas to help you get more of it in into your diet and help you feel great. Enjoy!

I saw your segment on Better CT and tried the Kale Chips. My family loved them. My question is…where can I purchase the bagged, pre-washed Kale? You mentioned Stop & Shop, but which one? I’ve tried a couple of different S&S stores and can’t find it.
Hi Gerri,
I found the kale at the Stop and Shop in Hamden, at the corner of State and Skiff. I’m not sure if you live near a Trader Joe’s, but they carry “Southern Greens”, a mix of collards, turnip, and mustard greens that could also work.
And you can always buy the kale and wash it yourself, but needless to say, it’s not nearly as efficient!
Hope that’s helpful.
All the best,
Wendy
