Are You Eating the Highest Quality Food?
Can you tell a difference in how you feel when you’re eating food of a higher quality? You know, not highly processed, full of sugar or growth hormones? I personally feel much better when I know I’m giving my body the healthiest of foods. Is the food organic or non-organic? Was it produced it a way that treated animals humanely? Does it comes from a source I trust – like a local farmstand instead of being shipping across the country ?
I think the answer to these questions has to do both with the quality of the food source, but also with slowing down to figure out how our body really feels. I feel more energized when I’m eating high quality foods. And when I slow down my pace, I actually take the time to tune in and can notice how the food may be affecting me.
