Guilt-Free Moderation during the Holidays
Yesterday I was thinking about the fact that I often give myself license to overeat during the holidays. One of those, “I’ve worked so hard all year, now it’s time to have some fun” thoughts. Not that I’m not having fun the rest of the year, but isn’t there something about festive parties, holiday music and libations that just get you in a celebratory mood? It’s easy to let your guard down and indulge a bit. And needless to say, a little of that is okay.
But at what point do you reach that thin line between indulging/enjoying and overindulging/feeling guilty and bloated? I’m all about living consciously this holiday season and practicing “guilt-free moderation.” That is, enjoying holiday parties and wonderful company a little bit at a time so that I feel balanced and healthy.
